OmaElisa is Elisa’s self-service channel for consumer customers and serves as the primary digital touchpoint for customer interaction, both on the web and as a mobile application. The service has nearly one million users in Finland.
Role
I work in the OmaElisa development team as a UX/UI and strategic product designer, where I combine service design, product thinking, and practical hands-on design work to shape business and customer needs into meaningful, high-impact solutions.
My role spans both strategic and operational levels. I help clarify problem spaces, define customer and business value, and translate these into concrete concepts, flows, and interfaces that guide the direction of development. I use service design methods, data analysis, research insights, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure we solve the right problems with the right level of quality.
The work is a mix of long-term strategic development and fast, data-driven experimentation. Together with growth team we design, run, analyze A/B tests and build rapid prototypes, creating learnings that inform how we evolve the service.
The environment is inherently complex: multiple independent business units, diverse customer segments, and a large number of stakeholders with varying priorities. I play an active role in facilitating alignment across teams, simplifying complexity, and ensuring that customer experience, brand, and business goals move in the same direction.
In addition to core product design, I also contribute to higher-level development such as strengthening the design system, supporting organizational change related to design maturity, and helping teams adopt shared ways of working. This includes facilitation, building shared understanding, and empowering teams to make better design-led decisions.
Through these combined responsibilities, I aim to create solutions that are not only intuitive and visually clear, but also strategic, scalable, and aligned with Elisa’s broader goals.
